A growing FMCG manufacturer are seeking a Engineering Supervisor to oversee engineering operations on the night shift. As the Engineering Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal part in driving operational excellence and innovation within the engineering function. Monday to Thursday Night Shift - 10 Hour Shifts. Salary £50,000 to £53,800 plus Benefits.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the Engineering maintenance system to improve machinery uptime and control parts costs.
  • Lead and refine Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules to ensure assets perform to OEM specifications.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on significant downtime events and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee purchasing of parts and services, ensuring cost-effective solutions and compliance with legal standards.
  • Monitor and report on engineering KPIs, including weekly maintenance budgets and PPM hours.
  • Facilitate contractor activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven management experience within an engineering function.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including logic control systems.
  • Experience in using computerised maintenance management systems and writing RAMS.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement techniques and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in engineering, alongside formal qualifications in food safety and health & safety management.
