Our client is a well-established manufacturer that designs and manufactures custom products. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for managing NPI projects from initial concept to final customer approval, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes and assisting with delivering high-quality product output.
Process Engineer Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyse engineering technical drawings.
- Manage NPI projects from initial concept through to delivery.
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency & cost.
- Prepare process documentation such as work instructions, set-up sheets and SOPs.
- Evaluate and approve tool designs, ensuring alignment with product specifications.
- Provide technical support for production teams and troubleshoot process related issues.
Process Engineer Requirements
- Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in process development and project engineering within a manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in CAD software would be beneficial.
- Experience managing toolmakers and working with external suppliers would be desirable.
- Experienced in problem-solving process related issues.
- Must be a team player.
