Are you an experienced Specification Manager, Specification Sales Manager or Technical Sales Manager with a strong network across the Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (PHAR) or Building Services sector? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a brand new national role where you will influence specifications from concept through to project completion, working on high profile commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure developments across the UK and Ireland. You’ll be joining a well established manufacturing business that is investing in growth, innovation and customer relationships, giving you the autonomy to develop new opportunities while being fully supported by experienced technical, marketing and commercial teams.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll build strong relationships with consulting engineers, MEP consultants, architects, developers and contractors, securing product specifications at the earliest stages of the construction process.
  • Working closely with internal teams, you’ll manage projects from specification through to successful sales conversion, providing technical advice, delivering CPD presentations and helping customers identify the right solutions for your projects.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in specification sales within Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, Building Services, Pipework, Valves or Mechanical Systems
  • An established network of consulting engineers and M&E design consultants across the UK
  • A proven track record of winning specifications that convert into sales
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, hydronic or mechanical systems
  • Experience delivering technical presentations or CPD seminars
  • Excellent relationship building, influencing and commercial skills
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
