Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially aware Technical Manager to provide technical leadership within the procurement and sourcing function of a growing air conditioning distribution business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the company’s product portfolio meets the highest standards of technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and customer suitability. Acting as the main technical link between procurement teams, suppliers, manufacturers, and customers, the Technical Manager will support sourcing decisions, supplier evaluation, product compliance, and technical product support across the business.
A significant part of the role will focus on fasteners, fixings, and associated HVAC components, making this opportunity particularly well suited to candidates with strong experience in fasteners or related mechanical product categories.
Key Responsibilities- The Technical Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical specifications across the company’s HVAC and fastener product ranges, ensuring all products meet relevant legislation, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.
- Working closely with procurement and sourcing teams, the successful candidate will provide technical guidance during supplier selection, product evaluation, and tender processes.
