Step into an exciting contract opportunity with a focus on automotive visualisation and graphic design that turns ideas into show-ready graphics. If you enjoy high-impact creative work, precise mapping onto complex 3D vehicle surfaces, and collaborating across design disciplines, this role offers a genuinely rewarding challenge. You will get the chance to develop bold 2D graphic language, bring it to life on real-world surfaces, and help shape brand moments through cutting-edge digital visualisation.

What You Will Do

  • Create high-impact 2D graphic concepts, including typography, badging, decals, and livery themes tailored to automotive briefs.
  • Translate 2D artwork into complex 3D vehicle surfaces with distortion-free, perfectly aligned results.
  • Collaborate with exterior, interior, and component designers, plus clay/digital modelers, to ensure cohesive surface language.
  • Prepare detailed digital models for high-end rendering and real-time Virtual Reality (VR) reviews to support design evaluations and senior sign-offs.
  • Pilot emerging design technologies, including AI-assisted creation tools, generative design, and parametric workflows.
  • Support prototyping by preparing and scaling vector plots for physical decal and livery validation.

What You Will Bring

  • Extensive professional graphic design experience, with strong focus on automotive graphics.
  • A proven track record showcasing successful decal, stripe, badge, or livery design programs.
  • Expert-level command of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • High proficiency in industry-standard visualisation and rendering software, including Autodesk VRED and/or Unreal Engine.
  • Strong understanding of graphic mapping onto complex 3D vehicle surfaces, with a meticulous eye for technical accuracy and detail.
  • A relevant degree in graphic/automotive/transportation design, industrial design, digital modelling, or equivalent practical experience.

This role supports the company’s product development goals by strengthening brand identity and ensuring graphic concepts remain consistent from initial creative design through to immersive VR review and prototype validation. The work helps deliver clear, production-ready visual outcomes and encourages smart, forward-thinking ways of collaborating and iterating within the automotive industry.
