What You Will Do:
- Design and develop transmission software in embedded C.
- Interpret functional requirements to produce high-level and low-level software design artifacts.
- Adhere to a structured software development process based around the V model.
- Generate V&V tests and automated validation test scripts in Python or VTest Studio.
- Debug and fault-find issues at both hardware and software levels.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to contribute to innovative transmission solutions.
What You Will Bring:
- Degree in Software Engineering, or a STEM qualification with relevant experience; HND/C considered.
- Proven experience in an embedded systems environment, with a strong background in C or C++ programming.
- Demonstrable experience in writing applications for control systems.
- Familiarity with structured software development processes and SCM tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with any experience in Vector tools (Canalyzer, Canoe, Canape) or the Atlassian tool suite being beneficial.
