About the Job
The Company
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. A position has arisen within the Service Department for a Technical Desk Spares Engineer.
The Role
- Assist engineers to find part numbers from machine manuals
- Assist engineers to identify spindles for all machines
- Raise PIDBs to all Mazak factories to assist with parts
- Raise quotations for customers
- Raise orders from customer order confirmation
- Liaise with suppliers for delivery information and availability of parts
The Person
Essential Criteria- Ability to problem solve and think outside the box
- Team player who can work to deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure but maintain very high standards of work
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work under own initiative when required
- Good knowledge of Mazak products
- Computer literate
- Experience / ability to use various computer systems
