Our client is a well-established manufacturer that designs, tests and manufactures custom products. As a Project Development Engineer, you will review & improve manufacturing processes, manage projects from initial concept through to delivery, assist with continuous improvement projects, assist with CI activities, assist with designs and set up of CNC machinery.
Project Development Engineer Responsibilities:
- Review and improve manufacturing processes
- Manage projects from initial concept through to delivery
- Assist with continuous improvement activities
- Assist with designs and the transfer process to CNC machinery
- Programme and set up multi-axis CNC machinery
- Ensure that all technical information is completed correctly
Project Development Engineer Requirements:
- Degree or HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical discipline
- Previous experience working in a Development Engineer position
- Must be able to read, work to and amend technical designs using SolidWorks software
- Operate and maintain the CAD CAM interface
- Experienced in assisting with CI activities
- Must be a team player
