The Company
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. Job Description
- Setting & operating 4 & 5 axis machining centres.
- Producing a wide & varied range of highly toleranced parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
- Understand Mazak CNC controls & offer improvement ideas to the role.
- Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health & safety guidelines & rules.
- Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives.
Essential Criteria
- Have an understanding of milling/machining centre machines.
- Have experience & can safely set & operate automated CNC loaded machine tools.
- Have experience with cutting tools, fixtures & measuring equipment.
- Have a can-do attitude.
- Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
Desirable Criteria
- Can edit & alter programs.
- Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.

Working hours are Sunday to Thursday 10.00pm to 6.00am. Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
