Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak. An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Assembly Department working shifts.
Job Description:
- Mechanically fitting linear guides and ball screws to various machined parts and working with tight tolerances to ensure good accuracy for the finished product.
- Ensure all activities are completed within Health and Safety guidelines.
- Actively engage with all company Quality Control initiatives.
- Follow written procedures and detailed checklists.
- Support weekly production plan.
- Ensure quality gateways are complete to the highest standard.
- Provide on the job training.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience with measuring equipment preferred.
- Ability to work to tight tolerances and use hand tools.
- Be able to read and work drawings.
- Strong communication skills working closely with Team Leaders and Supervisors.
- Team player who can work to build schedule and deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure but maintain very high standards of work.
- Have a positive attitude and be able to build relationships within the team.

The hours are a rotational shift pattern, which are: AM Shift - 05:30am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday then onto the PM Shift. PM Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday is 2:00pm - 8:00pm.
