What You Will Do:
- Support the development of automotive components and systems using advanced Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) techniques to meet durability and robustness performance targets.
- Conduct CAE analysis, summarise findings, and provide actionable insights to design and engineering teams.
- Propose innovative improvements to existing modelling methods to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop automated tools for pre- and post-processing of simulations, streamlining workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, packaging, and programme teams, to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations at design reviews, contributing to the continuous improvement of virtual modelling techniques.
What You Will Bring:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in LS-Dyna explicit simulations within the automotive sector.
- Proficiency in LS-Dyna solver and CAE meshing tools such as HyperMesh or Ansa.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on full vehicle models.
- A passion for engineering and a keen eye for detail, coupled with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
