What You Will Do:

  • Support the development of automotive components and systems using advanced Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) techniques to meet durability and robustness performance targets.
  • Conduct CAE analysis, summarise findings, and provide actionable insights to design and engineering teams.
  • Propose innovative improvements to existing modelling methods to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop automated tools for pre- and post-processing of simulations, streamlining workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, packaging, and programme teams, to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations at design reviews, contributing to the continuous improvement of virtual modelling techniques.

What You Will Bring:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience in LS-Dyna explicit simulations within the automotive sector.
  • Proficiency in LS-Dyna solver and CAE meshing tools such as HyperMesh or Ansa.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on full vehicle models.
