What You Will Do:
- Conduct comprehensive background literature reviews, execute experiments, and analyze data for expert witness projects and commercial programs.
- Prepare and present detailed client reports, including test plans for field testing and emissions analysis.
- Lead or contribute to projects focusing on engine and emissions calibration, including vehicle testing using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Develop a deep understanding of emission control systems, alternative powertrains, and zero-emission technologies.
- Utilize advanced engineering analysis to process complex datasets and compile sophisticated reports.
- Collaborate with other engineers to manage project resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
What You Will Bring:
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Approximately 5 years of experience with automotive OEM and/or Tier 1 supplier preferred.
- Hands-on experience with portable emissions measurement systems (PEMS), dynamometer, and other relevant test equipment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills.
