This is a hands-on Project Manager opportunity for someone with mechanical or capital equipment experience who can step in, take ownership, and help steady a busy project portfolio during a peak period. We’re looking for a confident Project Manager who thrives in technical environments and enjoys working collaboratively.

The Role

  • Manage engineering projects from pre-contract through delivery and client sign-off, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to budget.
  • Support other Project Managers and engineering teams as workload demands.
  • Lead projects from pre-contract through delivery and client sign-off.
  • Support and advise other Project Managers, engineers, and delivery teams.
  • Attend and report at pre- and post-contract meetings with clients.
  • Manage procurement of materials, goods, and services for best value.
  • Expedite suppliers to meet programme and delivery milestones.
  • Ensure construction phase H&S plans, risk assessments, COSHH and final H&S files.
  • Support tendering activities with lead-time input and project costing insight.
  • Produce monthly project financial reports, forecasts, and lessons-learned reviews.
  • Assist with client invoicing where required.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in mechanical, machinery, or capital equipment projects is ESSENTIAL.
  • Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Proficient in MS Project and MS Office.
