This is a hands-on Project Manager opportunity for someone with mechanical or capital equipment experience who can step in, take ownership, and help steady a busy project portfolio during a peak period. We’re looking for a confident Project Manager who thrives in technical environments and enjoys working collaboratively.
The Role
- Manage engineering projects from pre-contract through delivery and client sign-off, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to budget.
- Support other Project Managers and engineering teams as workload demands.
- Lead projects from pre-contract through delivery and client sign-off.
- Support and advise other Project Managers, engineers, and delivery teams.
- Attend and report at pre- and post-contract meetings with clients.
- Manage procurement of materials, goods, and services for best value.
- Expedite suppliers to meet programme and delivery milestones.
- Ensure construction phase H&S plans, risk assessments, COSHH and final H&S files.
- Support tendering activities with lead-time input and project costing insight.
- Produce monthly project financial reports, forecasts, and lessons-learned reviews.
- Assist with client invoicing where required.
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in mechanical, machinery, or capital equipment projects is ESSENTIAL.
- Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Proficient in MS Project and MS Office.
