What You Will Do:

  • Lead and assure the execution of engineering for the delivery of projects, ensuring they meet scope, cost, and schedule.

  • Define, delegate, and monitor engineering activities, fostering a systematic approach across multi-discipline project teams.

  • Collaborate with the Program Management team to optimize project schedules and resource allocation.

  • Ensure adherence to and tailoring of business and technical processes in line with governance requirements.

  • Manage project engineering artefacts, striving to improve schedule adherence and margin.

  • Coordinate engineering resources effectively, representing the company in dealings with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Demonstrated knowledge of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, including various development models (Iterative, Incremental, etc.).

  • Proven experience in engineering management, leading a team of at least 10 multi-discipline engineers.

  • Expertise in strategy, planning, and design of complex solutions, ideally within the UK Defence/Aerospace industry.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, capable of representing the company at customer and supplier meetings.

  • Valid Driving license and willingness to obtain and maintain SC and DV security clearance.

Due to the nature of the programs we deliver for our customers, candidates may need to obtain the relevant security clearance or handle export-controlled material as defined by the role’s requirements.
