What You Will Do:

  • Assist with product development by liaising with suppliers and the purchasing department to ensure components meet required specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Head Design Engineer to update drawings and communicate changes to the production team.
  • Take ownership of design work for new products, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
  • Update technical records and provide production teams with necessary drawings and guidance.
  • Support customers with technical enquiries and assist with warranty claims.
  • Visit customer sites to oversee the initial setup of complex machines and ensure they are functioning optimally.

What You Will Bring:

  • A solid understanding of design processes and procedures.
  • Experience using computer-aided design software.
  • Strong communication skills to build rapport with internal departments and external suppliers.
  • The ability to articulate complex design issues clearly.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault is desirable but not essential.
