Overview
In this role you will lead quality initiatives to ensure products meet internal and external standards. You will embed a quality-first culture across a production-focused site and work closely with the QHSE Manager and MDs to drive continuous improvement. You will manage audits, QMS maintenance, and corrective actions while developing talent and maintaining robust process controls. Responsibilities
- Lead the company's quality initiatives and process controls to ensure consistent product quality
- Analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive quality excellence
- Oversee development and maintenance of the quality management system (QMS) and ensure industry compliance
- Mentor and develop staff to embed ownership and accountability for quality
- Manage customer complaints, non-conformances, and returns with effective corrective actions
- Conduct audits and develop inspection procedures to support continuous improvement
- Promote and implement initiatives to optimise manufacturing processes
Key requirements
- Minimum 3 years in a similar quality role
- Experience with quality systems and process controls
- Strong analytical skills with root-cause identification
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience in heavy manufacturing/engineering is preferred but not essential
