Our client, a global leader in industrial maintenance, is seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Technician (electrically biased) to support operations at their Yeovil site, operating within a highly regulated and fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a dynamic setting and enjoys a mix of electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repair, alongside mechanical maintenance and continuous improvement activities.

Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a strong focus on fault finding and repair.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics to support effective fault diagnosis.
Perform electrical testing, installation, and basic PLC fault finding.
Support mechanical repairs, including fabrication, welding (MIG & TIG), and machining when required.
With previous experience working within heavy industry, you will be a multi-skilled engineer with a strong electrical bias, demonstrating:
- A recognised Level 3 electrical qualification
- Proven electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair skills, including work on single and three-phase systems
- Ability to test, maintain, and repair motors, control panels, and electrical equipment
- Competent in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Experience or working knowledge of PLC fault finding and diagnostics (preferred)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, control circuits, and industrial automation
- Solid mechanical maintenance capability to support plant operations when required
- Experience using tools, workshop machinery, and maintenance equipment
