What You Will Do:
- Lead the creation of 3D concept designs using advanced CAD software.
- Produce detailed technical and assembly drawings, including Bill of Materials (BoM) management, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Perform basic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate component durability.
- Collaborate with customers, applications engineers, production teams, and suppliers to develop innovative solutions and resolve technical challenges.
- Support reverse engineering activities to address product obsolescence and maintain product relevance.
- Select, implement, and maintain CAD Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software for effective drawing control.
What You Will Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in CAD design, using tools such as Catia, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360.
- Strong knowledge of 3D modelling, technical drawing creation, and BoM management.
- Experience with reverse engineering and a solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Proficiency in engineering measurement techniques, including manual tools and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
