The Role

  • Manage engineering projects from pre‑contract through delivery and client sign‑off, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to budget.
  • Support other Project Managers and engineering teams as workload demands.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading projects from pre‑contract through delivery and client sign‑off
  • Supporting and advising other Project Managers, engineers, and delivery teams
  • Attending and reporting at pre‑ and post‑contract meetings with clients
  • Managing procurement of materials, goods, and services for best value
  • Expediting suppliers to meet programme and delivery milestones
  • Ensuring construction phase H&S plans, risk assessments, COSHH and final H&S files
  • Supporting tendering activities with lead‑time input and project costing insight
  • Producing monthly project financial reports, forecasts, and lessons‑learned reviews
  • Assisting with client invoicing where required

About You

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in mechanical, machinery, or capital equipment projects is ESSENTIAL
  • Able to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communicator with a positive, can‑do attitude
  • Proficient in MS Project and MS Office
