The Role
- Manage engineering projects from pre‑contract through delivery and client sign‑off, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to budget.
- Support other Project Managers and engineering teams as workload demands.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading projects from pre‑contract through delivery and client sign‑off
- Supporting and advising other Project Managers, engineers, and delivery teams
- Attending and reporting at pre‑ and post‑contract meetings with clients
- Managing procurement of materials, goods, and services for best value
- Expediting suppliers to meet programme and delivery milestones
- Ensuring construction phase H&S plans, risk assessments, COSHH and final H&S files
- Supporting tendering activities with lead‑time input and project costing insight
- Producing monthly project financial reports, forecasts, and lessons‑learned reviews
- Assisting with client invoicing where required
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in mechanical, machinery, or capital equipment projects is ESSENTIAL
- Able to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communicator with a positive, can‑do attitude
- Proficient in MS Project and MS Office
