Service Engineer We are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer of CNC machine tools.
This is a field-based role covering customer sites across the UK, carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of CNC equipment.
If you have experience with machine tools and enjoy working directly with customers, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected engineering business.
What You Will Do Carry out planned maintenance on CNC machine tools.
Travel to customer sites across the UK to service, diagnose and repair equipment.
Fault find and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime.
Provide technical support on machine controls, including Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain.
Attend product training to stay up to date with new machines and technologies.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
What You Will Bring HNC in Engineering or equivalent, ideally supported by a recognised apprenticeship.
At least three years' experience maintaining CNC machine tools.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience with Fanuc, Siemens and/or Heidenhain controls.
Good communication skills and confidence using PCs, mobile devices and standard IT systems.
