Senior / Principal Software Engineer β Calibration Controls Wrexham | Permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a market-leading engineering business developing advanced transmission control systems for off-highway vehicles.
We're keen to speak with both Senior and Principal level engineers, with the role and package tailored to your experience.
The Role You'll join a collaborative Electronics Controls team, developing embedded software for transmission control systems and supporting products from concept through to validation.
Key responsibilities include: Designing and developing embedded software in C.
Producing high and low-level software designs from functional requirements.
Working within a structured V-model software development process.
Supporting verification and validation activities, including automated testing.
Carrying out code reviews and ensuring compliance with software quality and functional safety standards.
Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
