We are seeking a skilled EC I Engineer to join our clients team, specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of advanced automatic door and access systems. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of systems, from pedestrian doors to oversized industrial and safety-critical doors used in nuclear, defence, transport, and high-hazard facilities. This role requires technical expertise in electrical, control, and safety systems, along with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-departmental integration to define project scope and support Functional Design Specifications.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing systems and verify modification requirements.
- Design control systems, including wiring schematics, panel assemblies, and cable schedules.
- Analyse and verify Performance Levels (PL) of safety-related parts of control systems using SISTEMA.
- Produce EC I drawings, documentation, and calculations in compliance with standards.
- Provide technical support to site teams, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Review and verify EC I drawings and documentation produced by other engineers.
Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
