A leading company in the UK’s food industry is looking for a highly competent and motivated Quality Manager to join their team at their state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Walsall area, This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a company that supplies the country’s major supermarkets and well-known restaurants. This role is working Monday to Friday What You Will Do: Manage the QA team to ensure product quality, legality, and safety while meeting customer specifications. Oversee recruitment, induction, and training of Quality Auditors. Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and adherence to quality standards. Conduct internal audits and lead third-party audits and customer visits. Coordinate investigations into customer complaints and implement action plans. Support the implementation of a robust food safety culture and quality initiatives on site. What You Will Bring: Relevant scientific or food-related qualifications (Degree desirable). Experience working with major retailers and leading audits. HACCP and Food Safety qualifications. Internal auditing training. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
