Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak. We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor within the Welding area of the Sheet Metal Department. The Sheet Metal Department Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the daily activities of the sheet metal fabrication department. The role ensures production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and delivery schedules are achieved while driving continuous improvement, employee development, and operational efficiency Job Description Setting weekly plans and targets to ensure the team meet the required daily output. Report daily on any issues with regards to receiving parts internally and the smooth flow of machines through the Weld department. Liaise with Production Planning, Fabrication, Paint, Assembly, and Quality departments to ensure smooth production flow. Monitoring and control section budgets. Responsibility for the control of risk assessments, staff training plans and SDQCP activities. Maintenance and control quality levels promoting high standards throughout the team, ensuring that we continue to complete machines to the highest quality standards. Ensuring the communication between departments and sections results in an effective supply and smooth flow of machines through to the Powder Line
