Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

What You Will Do:

• Perform electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs across the site to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct health and safety checks and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance with legislation.
• Collaborate with the production team to schedule and carry out planned maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain and improve site utility services, identifying energy-saving opportunities and implementing continuous improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve processing problems, ensuring quality standards are met and recommending process improvements where necessary.
• Support training initiatives and assist operatives to enhance their skills and knowledge.

What You Will Bring:

• Apprentice-trained expertise in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Proven experience in fault-finding and repairing gearboxes, drives, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• A strong background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency in understanding technical drawings and working with PLC and SCADA systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
