What You Will Do:
- Make well-informed credit decisions by assessing creditworthiness in line with the company's credit policy, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements as a Dealer Services Agent.
- Carry out credit analysis for commercial clients, reviewing financial statements, credit reports, business plans, and relevant industry information.
- Resolve dealer queries relating to credit applications, processes, and policies via phone, email, and other communication channels as a Dealer Services Agent.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders such as sales, operations, and collections, and communicate underwriting decisions clearly and concisely.
- Deliver compliant underwriting activity by following all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal policy standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen underwriting processes and support better outcomes.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience of credit underwriting or financial analysis, ideally within automotive finance, with the ability to assess both personal and commercial credit profiles.
- Strong understanding of financial statements including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, plus key ratios to support effective decision-making as a Dealer Services Agent.
- Confident analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make reasoned decisions under pressure and maintain accuracy.
- Solid risk assessment awareness and the ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial and operational risks across different customer segments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear approach to explaining complex information to different audiences.
