Exciting opportunity to join a market leading manufacturing company offering a role within their inclusive maintenance team. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be a key part of the team keeping our plant running smoothly. You'll work with specialist machinery, carry out planned and reactive maintenance, and keep production efficient and reliable. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and variety in your day, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.
What You'll Do:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
- Fault-find using a variety of testing equipment
- Work on Siemens and other PLCs
- Attend breakdowns and help reduce downtime
- Promote lean thinking and continuous improvement
- Contribute to safe systems of work and follow ISO 9001 quality standards
About You:
- Electrically biased engineer with experience in a manufacturing/factory environment
- Level 3 qualification (minimum) in Electrical Engineering
- Strong commitment to health & safety
- Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Diagnostic experience with electrical motors and pneumatics
- Practical understanding of PLCs
- 18th edition qualification, apprenticeship training advantageous
- Current or recent experience working as multi-skilled maintenance engineer, shift engineer, electrical engineer, electrical maintenance engineer, automation engineer, maintenance technician or electrical maintenance technician
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights - 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)
Location: Broomfleet, East Yorkshire
