We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth operation of plant and equipment through a robust Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the site’s TPM program to maintain optimal equipment performance
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions
- Coordinate and oversee external contractors working on-site
- Maintain building services in compliance with legislation and site standards
- Ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems and equipment are maintained
- Keep accurate and detailed maintenance service records
What We’re Looking For:
- Time-served, multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias
- Strong electrical background and knowledge of BS 7671 regulations
- Experience with hydraulic systems and compression moulding presses
- Ability to fault-find across electrical and mechanical systems
Desirable:
- Knowledge of waterjet cutting systems
- Experience with steam generation
- City & Guilds/HNC/ONC qualifications
- Forklift truck and MEWP licenses
