What you’ll be doing
- Managing urgent shipments for UK and EU transport.
- Quoting, booking, and tracking jobs – keeping customers updated every step of the way.
- Providing multiple transport solutions, from airfreight to hand carry.
- Working with trusted suppliers to source the best options.
- Reviewing routes and suppliers to drive efficiency and profitability.
- Coordinating closely with warehouse, operations, and accounts to deliver a seamless service.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in freight forwarding, ideally within a fast-paced or time-critical environment.
- Knowledge of European transport planning (essential).
- Confidence under pressure and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach.
- Ability to juggle priorities, stay organised, and deliver results.
- Computer literacy across MS Office and logistics systems.
- A second language or CPC qualification would be a bonus.
The details
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for shifts, weekends or travel when required.
Customer and supplier site visits where needed.
