What We're Looking For

  • Apprentice-trained, HNC/HND qualified, degree qualified or equivalent engineering background
  • Experience supporting mechanical products within a manufacturing, aerospace, defence, automotive, powertrain, machinery or similar engineering environment

  • Experience liaising with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on technical matters
  • Ability to produce clear technical reports and engineering documentation
  • Experience using 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks, to create and modify engineering drawings and models - minimal design day to day
  • Understanding of engineering change control and obsolescence management
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude with a practical approach to engineering challenges
  • Knowledge of internal combustion engines, propulsion systems, rotating machinery or similar products would be advantageous

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful engineering business in a senior technical role where you will play a key part in supporting and improving complex mechanical products used in demanding applications worldwide.
