Are you a Junior Maintenance Engineer, Junior Maintenance Technician or a Graduate Maintenance Engineer seeking a new job within Telford, and are you seeking a day shift role that is Monday to Friday?!
Due to expansion we are looking for a Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Telford (Shropshire), this role will be working day shifts Monday to Friday (37 hours per week), and the role comes with an annual salary up to £34K (dependant on experience).
We are looking for someone who is Electrically biased, and preferably someone who holds their 17th or 18th edition, other electrical certificates/qualifications would also be acceptable.
You will be working in a small team of 4 within the Engineering team, and this would be a great fit for someone who is either looking for their first opportunity with Maintenance / Maintenance Engineering, or someone that has got some limited Maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment and would like to find a stable employer who are prepared to develop you further.
What You Will Do:
- Install and commission new machinery, ensuring seamless integration into the production process.
- Plan and execute routine scheduled and preventative maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.
- Provide electrical engineering support to minimise downtime and optimise production efficiency.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, communicate effectively with relevant teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation, logging all breakdowns and servicing activities.
- Adhere to Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, and PPE policies and procedures at all times.
What You Will Bring:
- Previous Maintenance Engineering/Technician experience, preferably with an Electrical bias.
- A recognised certificate or qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly to unexpected challenges.
- A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
