A large food manufacturer are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll become part of a supportive team, conducting routine & reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery. Working Days: Monday to Saturday (5 shifts out of 6)

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.

  • Diagnose faults and perform effective repairs to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Record spare parts usage and maintenance activities using a CMMS system.
  • Support installation, refurbishment, and improvement projects to enhance operational performance.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation.

A time-served multi-skilled apprenticeship in an engineering discipline is required.

  • Experience in hatchery, agriculture, or food production environments is desirable.
  • Knowledge of IEE 17th/18th Edition, PLC systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics is advantageous.
