Electrical Fitter – The Role:
Construction of large, automated electrical equipment
Installation of equipment at customer locations worldwide
Reading engineering drawings
Testing, fault-finding and diagnostics of electrical equipment
Ownership of the designated build area to maintain acceptable housekeeping
Electrical Fitter – The Person:
Hands-on experience of electrical equipment assembly or machine building
Experience of using hand and power tools
MEWP & FLT qualification advantageous, training can be provided
Ability to solve problems
Competence in Microsoft office desirable
City & Guilds, ONC or HNC qualification in electrical engineering discipline
Apprentice training is desirable, as is 18th Edition certification
Professional manner, able to represent the company
Self-driven, keen to accept responsibility and accountability
Ability to travel worldwide
Full, UK valid driving license & Passport
You MUST be flexible for international travel. All Engineers are expected to spend 3-4 periods per year on site, for 3-4 weeks at a time
