£24,000 – £28,000 + Paid Overtime, Pension OTE c£43k+

Electrical Fitter – The Role:

Construction of large, automated electrical equipment

Installation of equipment at customer locations worldwide

Reading engineering drawings

Testing, fault-finding and diagnostics of electrical equipment

Ownership of the designated build area to maintain acceptable housekeeping

Electrical Fitter – The Person:

Hands-on experience of electrical equipment assembly or machine building

Experience of using hand and power tools

MEWP & FLT qualification advantageous, training can be provided

Ability to solve problems

Competence in Microsoft office desirable

City & Guilds, ONC or HNC qualification in electrical engineering discipline

Apprentice training is desirable, as is 18th Edition certification

Professional manner, able to represent the company

Self-driven, keen to accept responsibility and accountability

Ability to travel worldwide

Full, UK valid driving license & Passport

You MUST be flexible for international travel. All Engineers are expected to spend 3-4 periods per year on site, for 3-4 weeks at a time

You will join a £27M turnover business who actively foster a supportive environment, and will provide assistance for anyone looking for Chartered status. Each project is bespoke with it\’s own challenges. We are looking for innovative and dedicated Engineers who are keen to use their skills to their full potential. Engineers in this team have a direct route to develop into a Manufacturing Technician, Controls Technician, and further into Control Systems Engineer.

Located in Shropshire, this role is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
