What You Will Do:
- Complete electrical fitting, assembly, integration, and test tasks for vehicles in line with manufacturing instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
- Ensure the integrity of vehicle systems, sub-systems, and line replaceable units (LRUs) through basic tests and fault finding.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to understand specifications and materials required for tasks.
- Complete technical reports and support the Quality department as needed.
- Maintain a safe and efficient working area, adhering to 5S requirements and production schedules.
- Perform crane operation and lifting tasks following safe working practices.
The role will be working a rotational shift pattern consisting of 6am/2pm Monday to Friday then 2pm-12 midnight Monday to Thursday. Friday off. Basic salary of Β£38,056 plus 20% shift allowance (Β£45,667) with an excellent benefit package on offer.
What You Will Bring:
- Level 3 qualification in Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent experience.
- Significant assembly experience in a mechanical engineering or production environment within a similar industry.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
- To be able to pass UK MOD \βSC\β security clearance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team or independently.
- A motivated, disciplined work ethic with a continuous improvement mindset.
