Are you ready to take ownership of demand planning in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment? We\’re looking for a commercially minded Commercial Demand Manager to lead the forecasting and planning process, driving accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration across the business.
What you\’ll be doing:
Lead the demand planning process– Build and maintain robust demand forecasts and models that reflect market trends, customer needs, and sales goals.
Be the bridge between teams – Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, production, and logistics to ensure alignment and accuracy across all functions.
Drive customer insight into planning – Align forecasts with customer expectations and sales intelligence, capturing real-time demand signals to inform decision-making.
Support new product launches – Work hand-in-hand with commercial teams to plan for product introductions and promotions, managing availability throughout the product lifecycle.
Turn data into strategy – Analyse trends, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
Shape the S&OP journey – Play a key role in building and embedding the S&OP process, ensuring demand planning is fully integrated into the wider business strategy.
Balance inventory with demand – Monitor stock levels, support replenishment, and help reduce backorders, write-offs, and missed sales.
Measure what matters – Define and report on KPIs that track forecast accuracy, process efficiency, and the effectiveness of the Sales Organisation.
What we\’re looking for:
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field – or proven experience in a commercially driven, multi-channel, multi-site environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in a complex supply chain.
- A data-driven mindset – skilled in forecasting, modelling, and Excel, with experience using demand planning tools.
- A great collaborator – able to build trust, influence others, and communicate clearly across departments.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Confident with ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a bonus).
- Someone who can bring people on the journey – engaging teams to deliver a best-in-class planning function.
