Overview
In this role you will support the assembly and refurbishment of armoured vehicles, contributing to high-performance protection solutions. Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections of parts before fitting and escalate issues as needed
- Fit parts to vehicles following manufacturing instructions
- Work across different assembly cells and adapt to multiple tasks
- Prepare vehicles by removing base equipment and performing surface prep with hand tools
- Integrate new parts/equipment into military vehicles ensuring quality standards
- Assemble sub-assemblies and components within tight production timelines
Key requirements
- Affinity for vehicles, ideally military vehicles
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and follow manufacturing instructions
- Basic vehicle service skills with emphasis on safety and situational awareness
- Desirable qualification in an electrical or mechanical environment
