We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Production Project Manager to lead the development of innovative products from concept through to production. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) initiatives by coordinating R&D teams across research, electrical, software, mechanical testing, and production.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with ISO standards and company processes.
- Collaborate with technical leads to resolve project challenges and ensure requirements are met.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans using tools such as JIRA and SharePoint, setting sprints and tracking progress.
- Conduct and lead project meetings with both project teams and senior leadership, providing regular performance updates.
- Actively contribute to project tasks where necessary, providing hands-on guidance to overcome challenges and drive progress.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan and allocate resources, including team members and hardware requirements, as needed.
- Transition R&D projects smoothly into production while coordinating with production teams to meet timelines and budget requirements.
- Maintain and update manufacturing software and processes to ensure operational efficiency.
- Set and monitor quality standards, playing a central role in quality control decisions.
- Conduct regular one-to-one development meetings with team members to foster growth and engagement.
