Are you a Sales Engineer, Application Engineer, or CNC machining specialist with experience in cutting tools or metal cutting? With our client, you’ll work directly with advanced manufacturers to improve machining performance, reduce costs, and implement cutting-edge tooling solutions across industries such as aerospace and precision engineering.
This is more than a sales role—it's a technical partnership position where your engineering expertise drives real-world results.
- Developing and growing a territory through technical sales and account management
- Advising customers on cutting tool applications, machining strategies, and process improvements
- Delivering hands-on support, product trials, and cost-saving solutions
- Working with distributors and end users across CNC machining environments
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives (cycle time reduction, tool life optimisation)
- Using CRM and digital tools to manage pipeline and customer activity
Experience in metal cutting, CNC machining, or cutting tool applications is required. A background as a Sales Engineer, Application Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or CNC Programmer is preferred. Knowledge of milling, turning, or 5-axis machining is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at shop-floor and management level are necessary. Commercial awareness or experience in technical sales is desirable, along with aerospace or high-precision manufacturing experience.
