We're recruiting for a Technical Manager to join an established business that designs and manufactures specialist insulation and construction products. This is a senior leadership role where you'll take ownership of the technical function, leading product development, supporting manufacturing, ensuring compliance and working closely with customers to deliver innovative technical solutions. The Role
- As Technical Manager, you'll lead the Technical Department and act as the technical authority across the business.
- Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, you'll oversee the full product lifecycle from research and development through to manufacture, testing, certification and customer support.
- This is a varied role where you'll work across product innovation, quality, manufacturing support, technical compliance and continuous improvement while helping shape the future direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Technical Department
- Drive new product development within insulation and construction materials
- Manage technical projects from concept through to commercial production
- Support manufacturing by resolving technical challenges and improving production processes
- Oversee product testing, validation and certification
