What You Will Do: • Perform virtual service assessments of new vehicle and powertrain designs to ensure serviceability aligns with customer needs. • Generate detailed technical reports and collaborate with upstream teams to resolve serviceability challenges. • Deliver compliance to internal standards while supporting warranty cost avoidance and cost reduction targets. • Represent the service organisation within the engineering design community, managing SERP participation throughout the product development lifecycle. • Utilise tools like CAD, Teamcenter, and Virtual Reality software to ensure vehicle gateway requirements are met. • Provide support to after-sales teams by handling data acquisition, project implementation, and integration of initiatives. What You Will Bring: • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, comfortable working directly with customers, with a proactive and tenacious approach. • Strong computer skills, with expert experience in CAD, Teamcenter, VisMockup and other CAD visualisation tools. • Proven organisational and project management abilities, with the capacity to negotiate and manage conflicting deliverables. • Automotive knowledge, including design principles and dealership workshop practices, is highly advantageous. • Technician experience at a dealership. • A background in design and dealer workshops, with familiarity in workshop repair processes, is preferred. • Master Technician trained (desirable).
