Key Responsibilities:
- This is an all-round Accounts role covering – Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control and other Finance tasks, including but not limited to:
- Process supplier invoices and receipts accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and run weekly payment runs
- Issue remittance advices
- Set up new suppliers, customers and delivery addresses
- Chasing payments
- Request and manage credit limits
- Send weekly customer statements
- Maintain accounts receivable reports
- Reconcile expenses
- Produce reports
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Run weekly inventory and stock reports
- Support VAT management and reporting
- Assist with budgets and forecasting
- Support audits and provide accurate financial information
- Support office administration
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator with a proactive, can do attitude
