Our client is a specialist provider of bespoke flooring solutions, and they are seeking an experienced Tekla Structures Design Engineer to join their existing team. As a Tekla Structures Design Engineer, you will be responsible for managing design projects, creating 3D models, creating fabrication drawings and creating detailed designs that meet the clients’ exact specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 3D Models of bespoke flooring systems using Tekla
- Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for manufacturing & installation
- Liaise with clients, project managers and the wider engineering/technical team
- Read structural analysis calculations/drawings and use these to generate your models
- Provide technical support during the fabrication and installation phases of the project
Requirements:
- Experienced using Tekla Structures for structural designs
- Must possess a strong knowledge of structural steel design and fabrication
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant software packages is beneficial
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
