Supplier Quality Engineer role for a dynamic packaging company. What You Will Do:
- Proactively identify and address potential supply chain issues to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with global suppliers to implement, enhance, and maintain quality procedures and processes.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented to maintain high standards.
- Travel globally, focusing on visiting supplier sites to ensure quality standards are met and provide support for improvements.
- Balance technical challenges, collaborative work, and international exposure, with an average of up to 20% overseas travel required.
What You Will Bring:
- A proven track record in a similar role within packaging or transferable manufacturing industry.
- Practical experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, with a focus on quality systems and supplier management.
- Solid understanding of quality processes and a history of implementing and improving quality procedures.
- Experience in conducting supplier audits and supporting corrective actions based on audit findings.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the flexibility and adaptability for frequent overseas travel.
You will have current or recent experience working in similar roles such as: Quality control, QC engineer, QC technician, quality inspection engineer, quality engineer, quality technician or quality management.
