What You'll Be Doing:
- Create & Update Specs: Write technically sound, legally compliant, and brand-aligned product specifications for our retail partners.
- Raw Material Compliance: Request, assess, and validate raw material specifications to ensure they meet strict food safety, legal, and brand integrity requirements.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Technical, NPD, and other departments to gather the information you need to get specs right first time.

What You Bring:
- Solid technical know-how of chilled, multi-component products
- Sharp knowledge of retailer specification standards, including allergens, food safety, legal labelling, and ingredient declarations
- Hands-on experience writing retail specifications and reviewing raw material documentation
- A curious mindset and an eye for detail when working with multi-layered ingredient specs
- Ideally knowledge of FIND, in particular completed specifications for major supermarkets and food halls.
The Kind of Person We're Looking For:
- Meticulously organised with exceptional attention to detail
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative team player with the confidence to work with senior team members
- Someone who lives and breathes their core values: Teamwork, Quality, Honesty, and Passion
Why This Role Matters: This isn't just another spec-writing job - it's a chance to be part of a team that cares deeply about the food they make, the customers they serve, and the standards they uphold. You'll be right at the heart of product quality and compliance, driving excellence with every line of data you touch.
If you're detail-driven, food-savvy, and ready to take your technical skills to the next level - we'd love to hear from you.
