2 x Assembly Operatives required in Stafford Park (Telford).

Location: Stafford Park, Telford

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Shift Pattern: Working 39.5 hours a week, Mon to Thu 7:30am - 4:00pm and Fri 7:30am - 3:00pm

Due to continued growth, we are looking to hire 2 Assembly Operatives to join a well established manufacturing business in Stafford Park. There will be an initial 3-month probation period, after which, if successful, the role will become permanent.

The hiring manager would prefer someone who has worked in a sheet metal / fabrication manufacturing business previously. This job would be a great fit for someone who has previously worked as a Linisher, Fettler, Riveter, Assembly Technician, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Assembly Worker, Production Technician or Machine Operative within the Sheet Metal or Fabrication sector.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble material components such as aluminium, steel, and polycarbonate sheeting
  • Use tools and machinery including riveters, drills, power tools, hand tools and cutting equipment
  • Cut components to size and fasten via riveting, drilling, bolting, etc.
  • Work safely at all times, following company processes and quality standards
  • Receive full job-specific training to support development

What We're Looking For

  • Experience or understanding of working in a fast-paced manufacturing or workshop environment
  • Ability to follow instructions, processes, and deadlines
  • Competent using hand tools and power tools
  • Comfortable working as part of a team
  • A forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential
