What You Will Do:
- Manage customer enquiries and orders via phone and email, ensuring they are accurately loaded onto the system.
- Book and track shipments, providing quotes for EU and UK transport while offering cost-effective solutions.
- Liaise with suppliers to source transport and respond to customer needs, including handling line stoppages and arranging airfreight.
- Ensure jobs are closed out efficiently by obtaining necessary documentation, such as PODs and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate system data, ensuring all jobs are completed and checked prior to invoicing.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, including Operations, Accounts, and the Warehouse, to ensure seamless coordination.
What You Will Bring:
- Solid experience working within the transport and freight forwarding industry, with European planning experience being essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage and develop customer accounts.
- Proficiency in MS Office, email, and databases, with a good level of numeracy and literacy.
- A proactive and organised mindset, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively under pressure.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods, contributing to the companyβs commitment to providing high-quality service at the right cost. Location & Working Hours:
This role is based in Redditch and will require flexibility, including shift work and occasional travel to customer and supplier sites. Fully based on site (no hybrid working). The hours of work are Monday β Sunday, 4 on, 4 off basis, weekend working included, 7:00am β 19:00pm.
