Quality Inspector

Location: Wolverhampton

Join a leading name in precision manufacturing, as we continue to grow and invest in quality. We\’re currently seeking a skilled and detail-focused Quality Inspector to support our inspection team in delivering to the highest standards.

About the Role

As a Quality Inspector , you\’ll be responsible for carrying out both manual and CMM-based inspections to ensure components meet customer and engineering specifications. You\’ll work with a variety of measuring equipment and use the Wenzel CNC CMM system with Metrosoft software to perform detailed part inspections.

This is a hands-on inspection role, ideal for someone experienced in engineering or manufacturing quality control.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate CMM machines using Metrosoft software for detailed component inspection.
* Use manual inspection tools including thread gauges, gap gauges, micrometers, callipers , etc.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
* Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
* Support quality assurance across production processes.
* (Desirable) : Perform visual weld inspections – prior experience is an advantage, but not essential.

What We\’re Looking For

* Previous experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
* Proficient in CMM inspection , ideally using Wenzel CNC machines with Metrosoft .
* Skilled in the use of standard inspection tools and techniques.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Good communication and documentation skills.
