Production Director General Engineering, Machining, Fabrication, Oil & Gas Highly Competitive plus Bonus and Benefits Do you have experience managing a production workforce of 40+, and are open to an exciting position in Greater Manchester area? If yes, Jonathan Lee Recruitment are supporting a niche manufacturer of heavy machined and fabricated parts/systems supplying into the General Engineering and Oil & Gas markets recruiting a Production Director on a permanent basis, offering an excellent salary and benefits package with career progression. As a Production Director, you will be responsible for the Machining and Fabrications departments, including profiling and painting. You will also have the day-to-day management of the production facility, working with and through the Production Managers. The Production Director will have responsibility for: Set up and maintain efficient communication methods (both formal and informal), such as production management meetings Maximise the efficient use of machines and people Manage the demands of customers’ requirements Plan and authorise overtime, additional staffing and patterns of work Develop and maintain appropriate planning tools to give maximum visibility to the whole management team.
