Are you an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a role that offers excellent earning potential, long-term stability, and genuine career progression? Our client, a leading international manufacturer, is seeking a skilled engineer to join their busy maintenance team at their Broomfleet facility.

Location: Broomfleet, East Yorkshire

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)

Salary: £52,000 - £54,000 (DOE)

The Role: As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of the plant. Working within a highly skilled engineering team, you'll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs using a range of testing equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.
  • Minimise downtime and ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.

About You:

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering as a minimum.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical motors, drives and pneumatics.
  • Committed to health and safety best practice.
  • Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
