As a Lead Electronics Verification Engineer, you will help shape the certification-ready hardware journey for advanced aerospace and training and simulation solutions. This is an opportunity to guide technical work packages, mentor sub-teams, and drive DO-254 assurance through modern, Model-Based Design practices and powerful toolchains. What You Will Do:

  • Lead planning, execution, and documentation of hardware verification activities in line with RTCA/DO-254 guidance for airborne electronic hardware.
  • Oversee technical work packages, allocating tasks and ensuring deliverables stay on track with the project schedule.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technical teams across systems, electronic hardware, safety, mechanics, and simulation to keep verification aligned end-to-end.
  • Provide expert technical direction to deliver DO-254 projects through to certification readiness.
  • Plan, specify, verify, and validate electronic controllers for electromechanical aerospace systems, with a clear evidence-focused approach.
  • Support the wider Software & Electronics Hardware team using structured processes and Model Based Design.

What You Will Bring:

  • An engineering degree, ideally with electronics bias, or equivalent relevant experience in electronics verification and development.
  • Proven experience leading verification activities and coordinating work packages within regulated or certification-driven environments.
  • Strong understanding of DO-254 concepts and the evidence expectations that support certification activities.
  • Confidence working with Model-Based Design workflows and verification toolchains in practical project settings.
  • The ability to communicate clearly, influence priorities, and guide technical progress across multiple disciplines.

Location: This position is predominantly based in the Bristol office, with occasional travel to client sites as required.
